Furusato Takes Maiden Moto3 Victory at Sepang
Moto3's Grand Prix started late due to an incident during the sighting lap involving Noah Dettwiler and Jose Antonio Rueda.
The incident led to a delay until the medical helicopter returned after taking both riders to the hospital.
Rueda was confirmed to be alert and awake with contusions and a suspected hand fracture.
CIP Green Power stated: "Our rider Noah Dettwiler was involved in a serious accident... He will need to undergo multiple surgeries. We kindly ask you to respect his privacy."
Dettwiler's team requested privacy and will not share further details at this time.
