Greece Court Holds Farming Fraud Suspects
Some alleged leaders of a criminal group, accused of siphoning off millions in Greek EU farm subsidies, have been taken into pre-trial custody, according to state media.
Arrested suspects, allegedly involved in large-scale agricultural funding fraud and money laundering, were escorted by plainclothes police officers in Athens.
- Dozens of suspects were taken before prosecutors on October 23, 2025, police said.
