Disappointing Entry in AMC's Immortal Universe: TV Review
The third installment in AMC's Immortal Universe, based on the works of Anne Rice, 'Talamasca' is a disappointment.
The opening show, "Interview With the Vampire," is one of the best shows on air, smart, sensual and frequently funny, managing to preserve and update its source material.
“Interview With the Vampire” manages the balancing act of all great adaptations in both preserving and updating its source material;
In contrast, the sophomore effort, "Mayfair Witches," has been a relative letdown, lacking the passion and eccentricity of "Interview With the Vampire."
