Geothermal Exploration in Aydin, Türkiye
Çelikler has initiated the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process for drilling 11 geothermal exploration wells in two license areas in the Sultanhisar district of Aydin, Türkiye.
The project involves drilling six wells in ATG1 and five wells in ATG2, covering a total area of approximately 15,000 m².
The drilling aims to identify geothermal resources, and the Sultanhisar Geothermal Electricity Generation Facility, operated by Çelikler Sultanhisar Geothermal Electricity Generation Inc., has an installed capacity of 13.80 MWe.
Çelikler Contracting Construction and Industry Inc. plans to drill a total of 11 geothermal wells at two licensed sites in the Sultanhisar district of Aydin, Türkiye.
The project is expected to contribute to the development of geothermal energy in the region.
