The police discovered the naked body of an infant at an apartment demolition site in Tokyo, along with a broken glass jar containing a liquid believed to be linked to the case.

The body was found on October 29, after a construction worker made an emergency call to the police around 2:05 pm local time, reporting the discovery at a site in a residential area about 500m north-east of Yoyogi-uehara Station in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward.
