Ukrainian Troops Advance in Zaporizhzhia Region
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Sunday that Ukrainian forces have made gains in the southern Zaporizhzhia region and the Donetsk region.
According to Zelenskyy, Kyiv's forces have advanced around the town of Dobropillia near the logistical hub of Pokrovsk, a key target of Russian troops in the Donetsk region.
In his nightly video address, Zelenskyy stated that Kyiv's forces had made gains of more than 3 km (1.8 miles) further south in the Zaporizhzhia region.
