California Nurses to Hold One-Day Strike
3,100 Tenet nurses will hold a one-day strike on October 30 for patient safety at six California hospitals.
The strike is in response to the hospital corporation's refusal to address concerns about patient care and safe staffing, according to California Nurses Association/National Nurses United (CNA/NNU).
The nurses, represented by CNA, have been in contract negotiations since February with little to no movement on key issues.
