Nikola Topic Diagnosed with Testicular Cancer
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced that Serbian guard Nikola Topic has been diagnosed with testicular cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.
Topic, a 19-year-old draft pick from 2024, began treatment recently, and his medical team says the outlook is very positive.
“The biopsy confirmed that is the case,”
Thunder president Sam Presti stated, “a tremendous group of oncologists both at OU and MD Anderson” are optimistic about his prognosis.
