Social Services Minister Lionel Carmant has announced his resignation from the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) government and will sit as an Independent.
Carmant made the announcement alongside Premier François Legault on Thursday morning, citing the need to refocus his priorities after a difficult few weeks.
