OpenAI Launches Aardvark for Code Security

OpenAI has introduced Aardvark, a GPT-5-powered security agent, currently in private beta, which scans, analyzes, and patches software like a human researcher.

Aardvark aims to integrate AI-driven defense into the development workflow, mimicking the skills of a professional vulnerability analyst.

“OpenAI Aardvark is different as it mimics a human security researcher,” said Pareekh Jain, CEO at EIIRTrend. “It uses LLM-powered reasoning to understand code semantics and behavior, reading and analyzing code the way a human security researcher would.
