Police Take Accused to Crime Scene Location
The Ri-Bhoi Police took Iainehskhem Kharsati, the prime accused in the alleged rape and murder of a 13-year-old girl, to the crime scene location.
The exercise was carried out under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vivekanand Singh Rathore, along with senior officers and personnel from the Meghalaya Forensic Crime Scene Unit.
The visit was part of an effort to reconstruct the sequence of events and collect additional forensic evidence to strengthen the case, the SSP said.
