Suffolk Pig Farmer Praised for Determination
Suffolk pig farmer Chris Fogden, of the Euston Estate, Thetford, has been praised for showing determination in the face of adversity.
Three years ago, Chris nearly quit the industry, but he has since achieved a remarkable turnaround with his business, running a thriving contract breeding unit.
Last month, he was one of three farmers to reach the finals of the prestigious Farmers' Weekly Pig Farmer of the Year Award.
"I was very pleased to be in the finals," says Chris. "It was an incredible evening.

- The winner was Norfolk farmer Mike Durrant of Bunns Farm.
The winners were announced at a ceremony in London on October 2, with 1200 people in attendance.
