SOU Percussion Ensemble Launches Eclectic Playlist for 2025-26 Season
Southern Oregon University’s Percussion Ensemble offers a unique musical experience, open to any interested student at SOU.
The ensemble, known as SOUPE, aims to expose its members to a diverse range of musical styles, including music from cultures around the world, and provides an opportunity to learn and play instruments not commonly found in popular American music.
- Meets once a week to develop percussion skills
- Prepares for upcoming performances and recording opportunities
- Welcomes students of all experience levels, with some musical experience preferred
