Matthew Carney, executive producer of Four Corners since 2022, has resigned from his position.
He will remain in his role until a successor is appointed, as announced by ABC News boss Justin Stevens to staff.
Carney joined ABC in 1995 and has had a distinguished career, including being executive producer of Foreign Correspondent and China bureau chief.
The final Four Corners program for 2025 aired recently, winning its slot with 575,000 viewers in National TV Audience.
The show is currently nominated in the 2025 Walkley Awards, having won its last Gold Walkley in 2022.
