Study Reveals Barriers and Enablers to Infant Abuse Prevention Programme ICON

A new study has examined the delivery and sustainability of the ICON programme, a UK-wide initiative aimed at reducing the risk of abusive head trauma (AHT) in infants.

The study, led by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration West (ARC West), found that healthcare managers and frontline staff play a crucial role in implementing the programme across the NHS.

The study's findings are published in BMC Public Health.
