A Pregnant Amazon Employee's Struggle
A 20-year-old Amazon employee, Genesis, faced difficulties at work after becoming pregnant in 2024.
Genesis worked as a "stower" at an Amazon warehouse in Southern California, where she was required to lift heavy items.
"You're just a number to them."
After providing a doctor's note, Genesis requested accommodations, including regular breaks, limited bending and twisting, and lifting no more than 20 pounds.
