Sisters' Sweet Treats Raise Funds for Cat Charity

Two young sisters, Persephone and Ophelia Dyer, raised over £130 for Lymington Cat and Kitten Rescue by selling homemade treats.

They baked chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes, and sold them to friends, family, and members of the public outside their home in Highcliffe.

“This is a wonderful charity we want to support. It was fun baking together and even better knowing it’s for a good cause.”

The funds will provide food, shelter, and medical care for cats. Jon Hancock, Co-Manager of the rescue centre, praised the girls' efforts, saying:

“We were thrilled to hear the girls were organising a fundraiser on our behalf. They put so much work into it and did us proud.”

The charity, founded in the 1970s, has cared for thousands of felines.
