NCIS: ORIGINS Season 2 Promises Resolution to Major Cliffhanger
Season 1 of NCIS: ORIGINS ended with a major cliffhanger, leaving fans wondering if Lala Dominguez survived a tragic car accident.
The Season 2 premiere answered this question, with star Austin Stowell revealing in an interview with TV Insider that
Lala will be back in some capacity. He explained that
she went through a terrible accident and anybody who would go through something like that, there are going to be adjustments and baby steps coming back into the workplace.
Stowell also emphasized the importance of Lala's character, saying
it would be a tragedy if we lost [actress] Mariel [Molino], the human being and the actress. He added that
it would be a disservice to the show, and I don’t think that Lala’s and Gibbs’ story is done either.
NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama also praised Mariel Molino, calling her
a phenomenal actressand noting that
the nature of our shows is anything can happen.
