CPS Response to HMCPSI Follow-up Inspection
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has received a follow-up inspection report from His Majesty's Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate (HMCPSI) regarding the 2020 joint inspection of domestic abuse prosecutions.
The 2020 inspection examined the handling of evidence-led domestic abuse prosecution cases by the police and CPS, resulting in four recommendations for improvement. The follow-up report assesses the progress made by the CPS to implement these recommendations over the past five years.
