The dense fog advisory that was in effect for Western and Eastern San Fernando Valley as well as Los Angeles is set to expire at 9 a.m.
The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Los Angeles/Oxnard, CA, stated,
"The threat has ended."
A dense fog advisory is issued when widespread dense fog causes visibility to fall to one-quarter of a mile or less, significantly affecting travel safety. Drivers are urged to exercise caution or avoid driving if possible during these conditions.
