Hayley Williams released "Showbiz," an unexpected addition to her third solo album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, which was officially issued on vinyl today. This new track joins previously revealed songs “Good Ol Days” and “Parachute,” all added after the initial set of 17 songs that Williams released in the summer through her label, Post Atlantic, and distributed by Secretly Distribution.
Williams co-wrote “Showbiz” with producer and collaborator Daniel James, who contributed to the entire album. The song narrates a romantic encounter amidst the fog and haze of a nightclub setting. Williams sings:
“I wanna do it again / I wanna dance in the strobe lights / I wanna choke on the smoke / And feel your eyes on me.”
She reflects on whether the moment meant as much to the other person as it did to her.

To celebrate the album's physical release, record stores worldwide hosted "Ego Nite," an event featuring playback of the record, merchandise, and physical LP copies.
