Partnership for Healthier Workplaces

Over 60 major and numerous small employers are partnering with the government to address the growing issue of people being out of work due to ill health.

This joint effort, developed in response to

The Review estimates that

one in five working-age adults is out of work due to health reasons
, resulting in a £85 billion annual cost to businesses from sickness, turnover, and lost productivity.

The partnership will refine workplace health approaches over the next three years to build an evidence base for effective strategies.
