Ottawa Senators Captain Brady Tkachuk Out with Injury
Ottawa Senators head coach Travis Green announced that captain Brady Tkachuk will be out for six-to-eight weeks after undergoing hand surgery.
He's going to be out a significant amount of time. But we're making sure that we're taking care of him, and that we do the right thing.
Travis Green did not provide an update on Tkachuk's status before the game against the Seattle Kraken, but league executives confirmed the procedure took place on Thursday afternoon.
The Ottawa Senators will have to continue without their captain for an extended period.
