Yang Hansen Impresses in Second Preseason Game
The Portland Trail Blazers' selection of Yang Hansen is looking like a genius move after his outstanding performance in the second preseason game.
The team evened out their preseason record at 1-1 with a 124-123 win against the Sacramento Kings, but the real highlight was Hansen's play. Despite playing only 17 minutes, he finished with 16 points, four rebounds, one assist, and three blocks, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-3 from deep.
Although some flaws from his debut game were still evident, such as his speed, turnovers, and tendency to foul, Hansen's overall performance was a significant improvement. In his first game against the Golden State Warriors, he had four points, four rebounds, one assist, and four turnovers in 21 minutes, fouling out. In the win over Sacramento, he had three turnovers and five fouls.
Hansen's performance is a promising sign for the Blazers.
