Millions of Americans are preparing for the season's first snowfall as cold air moves into the Eastern and Central U.S. A developing cold wave is expected to bring winter-like conditions across the Midwest and East this weekend and into next week.

“A lot of these places typically see their first snows the first or second week of November, which is pretty much right on schedule.”
