In the Monday, Nov. 10 episode of The Voice, Rob Cole and Marty O'Reilly competed against each other in the Knockouts, leaving coach Michael Bublé to make a difficult decision about who to send home.
"I'll be damned! Man, the way you sing, the way you howl and growl, that ain't nothing but the dog in you. You were that good," said coach Snoop Dogg. He praised both contestants but added, "Brother Rob Cole, the way you started on that piano and then you stood up and went to a whole other level like, that's super star. But to me, I'd go with the dog."
Coach Niall Horan complimented Cole's piano playing and storytelling, saying he "told the story so well." Speaking of O'Reilly, he described the performance as "so captivating to watch" and admitted it was hard to choose, stating, "Both of these still deserve to be here and it's sad but someone actually has to leave here right now."
"I loved you singing a Joe Cocker song. You channeled a little bit of Joe here tonight. Fantastic," praised coach Reba McEntire, who also appreciated Cole's piano skills and told both contestants they did a "great job."
As the Knockouts weigh heavily on the contestants, Michael Bublé faces a tough choice in deciding who moves forward.
