Lorraine Kelly to Celebrate Another Year of Fundraising for the STV Children’s Appeal

STV will broadcast a special live programme on Friday from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow, highlighting the charity work of the STV Children’s Appeal during 2025. Lorraine Kelly, a trustee of the STV Children’s Appeal since its beginning, will host the show and meet people who have supported or benefited from the Appeal over the past year.

Featured Projects and Fundraising Efforts

The programme will showcase three different projects that have received support this year through the Appeal. These initiatives reflect the impact of the charity’s work across Scotland.

Special Tartan to Support the Appeal

Prior to the show, Lorraine Kelly wore a kilt and scarf made from a unique tartan print designed by Houston Kiltmakers, a family business based in Paisley. This official STV Children’s Appeal tartan incorporates the charity’s pink, yellow, and blue colour scheme and was created earlier this year specifically to raise funds for the Appeal.

“Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ. I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them.”
