Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 26 points as seven Timberwolves players scored in double figures during their dominant win in Sacramento. It marked the team’s sixth straight victory in California’s capital and their fourth win in five games.
The Timberwolves, now 6–4, displayed strong two-way performance, cruising to a 144–117 victory over the Kings. Minnesota shot 53.6% from the field, made 18 of 46 three-point attempts, and turned 18 Kings turnovers into 37 points. The Wolves led almost the entire game, continuing their recent stretch of high-energy basketball.
“Another complete game on both ends of the floor,” Wolves coach Chris Finch said. “I thought we were really sharp, which is what we needed. Built on the performance from the other day and continued into today. I’m really pleased with how we’re starting games defensively.”
Edwards, playing his third game back from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for four contests, contributed 26 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. He shot 7-for-16 overall, 5-for-11 from beyond the arc, and 7-for-8 from the free-throw line. After scoring 37 points against Utah on Friday, Edwards has now connected on 12 of 23 three-point attempts over his past two outings.
Minnesota extended its dominance over Sacramento behind Anthony Edwards’ 26 points and efficient team offense, marking another confident step in the Wolves’ early-season rhythm.
